Cargol de Mas Violella

The Cargol accommodation is located on the first floor, at garden level, making it the perfect place to enjoy nature in total comfort, as well as summer lunches and dinners outdoors. Its warm and welcoming atmosphere invites you to relax from the very first moment.

It features a spacious living and dining area with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, a large TV, a dining table for shared meals, and even children’s furniture for younger guests. The house offers three double bedrooms, a full bathroom with shower, an additional toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen so you can feel right at home.

You will also find central heating, air conditioning, WIFI, board games, and plenty of local information to help you discover special spots, hiking routes, and activities in the area.

If you are travelling with a larger group, the accommodation can be connected to the upstairs apartment (Granota Accommodation), reaching a total capacity of up to 13 guests. Perfect for getaways with friends or family gatherings.

The outdoor area is one of the great highlights of the estate: over 5,000 m² of enclosed garden where you can run, play or simply relax. You will find porches ideal for long meals outdoors, barbecues, sun loungers, a unique swimming pool to cool off in summer, football goals, swings, and an old stable converted into a leisure area with a pool table and shared washing machine. There is also free secure parking within the property.

Your four-legged friends are welcome at Mas Violella. We offer an exclusive area for them with an agility course, shaded areas, and even a dog swimming pool.

To make your stay even easier, we provide all the necessary information about restaurants, excursions, visits and highlighted activities in the area. Just 100 metres away you will find a restaurant service and you can also order takeaway food delivered to your accommodation, including delicious pizzas! We can help you with bike rentals, guides, taxis or transfers.

In the village, just 1.5 km away, you will find all services: supermarkets, pharmacy, tobacco shop, bars and an electric vehicle charging point. And in Olot, only 6 km away, you will find an even wider range of shops, restaurants and services.

It features a recently renovated full bathroom with a spacious shower and, in addition, a guest toilet (WC and washbasin).

Mas Violella is located within the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and close to the Alta Garrotxa Natural Area. Its location is excellent, allowing easy access in a short time to ski resorts as well as the Costa Brava, Olot, Figueres, Banyoles or Girona, with direct road access.

One or two dogs per accommodation are allowed (extra charge applies). They must be well-behaved.

The accommodation is not specifically adapted for wheelchair users, but in cases of reduced mobility there is direct access to the Cargol accommodation from the garden, without stairs. The shower is spacious and includes a grab bar. Inside, there is a small step at the entrance and another in the bedroom area.

You cannot leave without trying the volcanic cuisine, which has gained great prestige in recent years. In fact, there are two Michelin-starred restaurants in the area. It is also highly recommended to discover the local traditional cuisine, based on local products and offering excellent value for money.
